Gedruct by Arnold Bon, 1667. WITH: Vervolg ... Sm. thick 4to. Orig. full old vellum with black ink hand-written title on spine. (8, xvi, 486, 36, II, 487-892, 32, iv pp.). With additional illust. title-page, and 34 folding or double-page wood-block plates. Some old staining along top edge, and some upper corner damage not however affecting the text nor the plates; nonetheless a very good copy of Bleyswijck's famous description of the history, topography, institutions and Commercial life of Delft in the 17th Century. The plates are exquisite depicting views of Delfshaven, Leidschendam, the Abbey of Koningsveld, the ruins of the Carthusian Monastry, the City Hall, etc. etc.
