NOTE: A distinct exploration diary from surgeon explorer Thomas Braidwood Wilson (1792-1843) with the first written record and image of the didgeridoo. The ƒ??Governor Readyƒ? (512 tons) was chartered by the British Navy to transport two hundred convicts from Ireland to Batavia, Indonesia via Sydney. Wilson served as surgeon-superintendent and kept a record of the events which transpired during this voyage.
