Binding worn, and hinges weak but skilfully stabilized. Some occasional discolouration but overall an excellent set, complete with both half-titles, two title-vignettes, as well as chapter vignettes. The armorial bookplate of Sir William Irby (the family name of Baron Boston) inside front boards. NOTE: Orrery - a clockwork model of the planetory system, named after Earl Orrery, ca.1700.
