With col. portr., tissue guard, title-vign., 2 full-page portrs., and 13 illusts by A. Feint. Ex-libr. copy with SCEGGS library bookplate on front endpaper, number on spine and stamps on several pages. Otherwise a very good copy. NOTE: John Fairfax (1804-1877) was an English journalist, who came to Sydney in 1838, and became proprietor of The Sydney Morning Herald in 1841.
